Lough Dan Hostel Opening


  • The Hostel will be opening on the May Bank Holiday 2010. We are now accepting bookings for the hostel at weekends, and also midweek bookings for the summer. Places are filling up fast so book soon.



    • Lough Dan Opening for Camping Season 2010


  • Lough Dan Scout Campsite is opening its gates to campers a little earlier than usual this year. Come and Join us on the 13 and 14th March in Wicklow for our opening weekend.


    • Tree Planting

  • On the weekend of the 13th – 14th of March 2010
    Lough Dan Scout Centre invites hundreds even thousands of individuals, patrols, and groups to create an oak forest by planting oak trees.
    Sponsor a tree for just €20
    Then come along and plant it on the hillside over looking Lough Dan. When you sponsor a tree we will have it ready for you on the day. We will provide an ID tag, a stake and a tree tube to protect it from the deer.
    All you have to do is bring a spade and your wet weather gear. If you want to help save the planet by planning an oak forest on a weekend
